Healthy Little Champ Activity For Kids: Cauliflower Garden

Cauliflower is a very interesting vegetable, isn’t it? Well, how about making a miniature cauliflower garden, a table decor? Your child will get to express their creativity with this art and craft. Materials

  1. Clay – green
  2. Coloured papers – yellow, green
  3. Thermocol
  4. Cutter
  5. Tray
  6. Ice cream sticks
  7. Brown paint
  8. Paintbrush

Instructions for Healthy Little Champ Cauliflower Garden Activity

Make the cauliflowers

  • Take small pieces of clay and flatten them.
  • With a leaf make impressions for the leafy effect.
  • Fold small pieces of yellow coloured paper to make the cauliflowers.
  • Place them on the flatten clay strips.
  • With a sketch pen, make spots to complete the cauliflowers!

Garden setup

  • Trace a outline of the tray on thermocol and cut it out.
  • Glue the thermocol cutout to the tray.
  • Break a few ice cream sticks in half.
  • Cut out grass patches and place them around the rim.
  • Paint the thermocol brown.
  • Place the ice cream sticks to make the fence. Your garden set up is ready.

Now, stick the cauliflowers on the garden patch.

Ta-da the cauliflower garden table decor is ready!

Encourage your child to narrate a simple story using their cauliflower garden decor.

In this activity, your child comes up with a layout about how their garden must look and accordingly create their cauliflower garden. This enhances their creative and logical skills.
