Instructions For In The Market Cloth Store Activity
- Take out a clean piece of an old cloth. (We used a couple of fabric bags.)
- Using a sketch pen, draw the outlines of the clothes such as shirt, a pair of trousers, a skirt, etc.
- Encourage your child to colour the clothes in any manner — finger-paint, finger-print, use small items to make patterns, etc.
- Once dry, cut the pretend clothes out. Pin up them up on a string using clothespins.
Ta-da, the pretend cloth store is now ready!
Engage your preschooler in a fun pretend play where the play the role of the vendor and you are the buyer. Encourage them fix the price for each pretend attire.
