Materials

  1. Paper
  2. Ice cream sticks
  3. Glue
  4. Rubber bands
  5. Ruler
  6. Sketch pens

Instructions for Ocean Navigator My Navigation Chart

  • On a paper, draw a map of your room. Mark the different elements of the room.
  • Create a frame around the map using ice cream sticks.
  • Place cream sticks connecting each element of the room.
  • Stick all the ice cream sticks in place.

Your navigation chart is done!

You’ve just created a navigation chart of your room! Sailors would do the same. But instead of connecting room elements, they would connect the different countries.
