Flintobox Success Story – Mrs. Asha Seth

The Story – From constant TV & iPads to decreased screen time & learning through play, Mrs. Asha revamped the way her kids were being engaged at home!

Mrs. Asha Seth from Chennai is a mother of 2 children – Arav & Anayaa.

Lately, she was finding it increasingly difficult to take them both off screens.

In today’s tech-savvy life, gadgets have grown into a basic necessity which cannot be avoided, resulting in rising screen time in most children.

The Challenge – “…tv or iPads (were) keeping my kids away from all fun activities

Irrespective of all that Mrs. Asha tried, the kids remained glued to the screens.

As she states, “Even the puzzles I bought were played with once and then sidelined.

So while searching for a solution, she came across Flintobox and so decided to give it a try!

The Turning Point – “Both my kids loved playing together without any fights.

It turned out that Flintobox was the answer she was searching for all the while.

As she explains “Before Flintobox, it was always TV or iPads keeping my kids away from all fun activities.

Flintobox had a set of things to do.” which immediately got the attention of the kids.

Rather than spending the entire day glued to screens, they started enjoying the world around them.

The Result – “There were new activities for each day of the weekend, that helped keep them away from screens.

With “Very good quality, colourful and attractive” activities that are “…designed to be educational at the same time”, screen time was now turning into a thing of the past for Anayaa & Arav.

For Mrs. Asha however, there was more to the upside “As the activities were easy for the kids to manage on their own, I didn’t have to sit with them.

The way all the activities were carefully planned out, arranged and presented, and the impact it had is something she is more than pleased with. “I have already recommended to many and would do so in future as well. Because I know most parents face the same problems that I used to.

Need Help Getting Started?

Our generation experienced a childhood without mobile phones and gadgets. But children today are exposed to technology from a very young age. There are both positives and negatives to this.

And it will be great if a balance is struck where children experience the best of both worlds.

If children are spending a good amount of time in front of TV and mobile phones, there are 2 ways to handle it.

Option 1: Restrict the time children spend on TV and mobile phones.
Option 2: Provide healthier alternatives to TV and mobile phones that are attractive to children.

Flintobox is an effort in the direction of the second option. A bunch of activities are carefully selected and designed to educate children on new things every month and in the process, create a fun environment for them. The fun element helps children stay away and control the time they spend in front of screens.

If you would like to provide a healthier alternative to TV and mobile phones, give Flintobox a try!
Flintobox is currently available for children between 2 – 12 years of age.
